The most accurate pedometer I've found June 28, 2010 Pencil Pusher (USA) I have been using one of these for a few months now to count my daily steps, both for deliberate exercise and for keeping track of my activity level in just walking around the house, etc. I wear it clipped to my belt or top of pants and have found it to be very accurate in counting the steps. It's very simple to use and reliable. I tried a more expensive Omron pedometer that didn't work as well and went back to this one. I liked it so well that I ordered an additional one for my wife.
A couple of minor things to be aware of: there is a slight clicking sound when it counts a step. This doesn't bother me at all, but in very quiet situations it might be noticeable. Also, if you use it for very vigorous exercise where it might be brushed frequently or knocked about, you might want to use a bit of tape to seal the cover latch for the time being so it doesn't accidentally come open and stop counting - but that shouldn't be necessary most of the time. Great pedometer!
Great little pedometer June 22, 2010 Bella Luna (Pennsylvania USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am very happy with this pedometer. The price is right and it is accurate. Plus it is easy to use --- no calorie counter, or kilometers equivalents; just the most important information.... How Many Steps Did I Take Today! In addition, the cover prevents me from inadvertently resetting the meter when I am leaning against the kitchen counter.
Measuring progress June 7, 2010 Dr. Salomon Weir (New York) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Measuring how many steps I take on a daily basis has made me aware of how much, and how little, I walk each day. Seeing the figure has become a motivating factor. This pedometer is a plain and simple device that does one thing, and does it well.
Accusplit Pedometer -- great product May 28, 2010 K. Hancox (Washington, D.C.) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Arrived in 2 days, works great, lightweight on your belt. If you want an easy to use pedometer that you won't even know is there, this is for you. Great value for the price.
Great Pedometer May 24, 2010 savingisgood 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have had several pedometers and this one is my favorite one yet. There is no setup. Just press the button and start walking. Bought one for each member of the family. We compete to see who can make 10,000 steps aday. It is a little on the pricey side but it's the only one I could find that is easy to use without a bunch of other buttons to push, doesn't reset it self on its own and has a strap to keep it on. So far I am really liking this it.
