Amazon.com Product Description
Perfect for your 10,000-steps-per-day workout program, this handy pedometer watch counts your total number of steps, distance traveled, and exercise time during the walk, hike, or jog. As a result, it's easy to plan and follow a specific daily training regimen. As a bonus, the watch also measures your speed and counts the calories burned--a must when focusing on weight loss goals. And should you need to track your progress over time, the watch offers seven-day and 10-week memory recalls. 1 out of 5 stars Waist of money   June 28, 2010

I bought this watch for the same reason as others that wrote reviews. I really needed a pedometer that would not have to be connected to my pants. I have read the instruction manual at least a dozen times and still does not work as instructed. I plan to return this watch in hope to get my money back. For the money spent it has a cheap wrist band, and very confusing instruction manual. To bad.

2 out of 5 stars question accuracy   March 28, 2010

It's nice looking, but I really wanted a pedometer that would track all of my activity in the day. This seems to switch itself off at some point and has to be "resumed". Not exactly what I was looking for, but okay if I want to use it only while working out.

I'm so DISAPPOINTED with this sportline 955 pedometer watch Just like the other reviewers stated the instruction manual is absolutely useless in helping with instuctions in how to set up pedometer. Wish I would have looked at revies before purchase. Complete waste of time and money!!!!

4 out of 5 stars I love this watch   February 19, 2010

I love this watch! It took me awhile to figure out because I didn't read the instructions at first but once i did this watch became simple to use. The only con is if I swing my arm around sometimes it will register as a step but then again if I wear a waist pedometer and jiggle to much it counts steps as well. This watch isn't much more than a regular watch and I like the fact that it keeps track of the distance I walk and calories burned based on my weight and movement.

The instruction manual for this item is unbelievable. I have a Ph.D. from MIT (no joke) and it took me 90 minutes to get through it. Even then, the sequence to change parameters takes lots of getting used to. (there are two interlocking loops of parameters.)
The bezel *is* soft and scratches easily.
The unforgivable? Today I did my first half marathon, and the chronograph function ran slow, then fast, then slow, then slow. It was totally useless. Pretty irritating performance for a big event.
